Eagles.

Soar on the wings of eagles.... Have you ever watched an eagle in flight? Once the bird gets up on the sky it soars effortlessly.  Dancing on the different drafts as they come. Oh to be so carefree.  I am sure there are moments when the draft dies down and the eagle could freak out and flap his wings all crazy until the next gust lifts him up. Instead, the eagle instinctively knows that the next draft is always there. Just like God is always there, to lift us to new heights. We have to trust that God has a brand new plan, another draft to push you higher than ever before. If the eagle freaked out and flapped feverishly would he miss the next drafts full capacity, or would he cut it short because he had to take matters into his own wings? Would he tire himself out so much that he couldn't enjoy the view from the new found elevation? Perhaps this is why God tells us "they that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount on wings as eagles, they shall run and not grow weary, walk and not faint." The next time you are faced with a situation where you feel like you are tumbling uncontrollably out of the sky..... Wait on the Lord. Take a deep breath and allow God to push you to new heights. Don't miss the opportunity to dance on the wind. It is there that you are free, it is there that your strength will be renewed.
